In January of this year my wife and I flew to Bangkok, then on to Phuket for free. We stayed for 3 nights in a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom serviced apartment at the Phuket Marriott Vacation club for a total of USD99 thats 99 dollars for the three nights . These rooms normally go for a minimum of USD339 PER NIGHT. That was just the start of our 5 star luxury 3 week holiday in Thailand that we paid very little for. How did we do it?
After our wonderful stay at Marriot's Phuket Beach Club, we went on to stay at the Sheraton at Krabi Beach for 2 nights for a total of USD100. Rooms at the hotel normally start at USD 255 per night. After flying back to Bangkok, again, at no cost, we stayed at the Grand Hyatt Erawan and after a few days decided to take my wife's cousin and her husband down to the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin for 2 nights. We stayed in 2 rooms over 2 nights for no cost whatsoever. Although I have expensive tastes and love to stay in expensive hotels during my holidays, unfortunately I am not a high paid executive so my salary is quite average. When I was younger I had a girlfriend who had quite expensive tastes to go along with her parents' generous allowance. It was easy to get used to the lovely surroundings of the 5 star accomodations and after we eventually went our seperate ways, these preferences stayed. Now whenever I go anywhere I only stay in 5 star hotels so I need to find a way to do it cheaply. I am going to explain here how I took my wife on a 3 week 5 star luxury holiday in Thailand for considerably less then it would normally cost. Check back here for part 2 of this story later in the week and I will reveal how you too can travel in style for a very reasonable price. Don't worry, I'm not trying to sell you anything. There is no sales pitch at the end. Part 2 now online. How to take a 5 star luxury holiday for less. part 2 |
